Your personal data - what is it?

How do we process your personal data?

We use your personal data to provide translation and translation-related services to our customers, to maintain our own accounts and records, and to provide requested information such as blog post notifications.
What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
We process data where this is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract; for compliance with our legal obligations; and for the legitimate interests of LingServe Ltd.
Google Analytics
LingServe Ltd uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (‘Google'). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
